Quite Possibly Two of the Sweetest Kids on Earth...

One of my main goals in opening a business was to be able to capture families interacting with each other.  Not only depict the individuals, but also focus on the relationship between the individuals.  This session defines exactly why I do what I do.

These two adorable and precious kiddos had me laughing and tearing up at the same time.  Their mama, Michele, told me on the way to the shoot that they were very loving and caring toward one another.  While photographing them I certainly could see such a sweet connection between the two of them.  They could just look at one another and they would begin giggling endlessly.  They were constantly holding hands and hugging each other.  Truly, they were such blessing to watch and capture.   I am grateful for the opportunity to photograph the oceans full of love between these amazing kids.

Lindsay and Nigel

Lindsay and Nigel are friends of mine from church.  They are fun.  They are COMPLETELY different.  They are funny.  They are perfect for one another!  They were wanting some pictures of themselves as a couple, and so we decided to head downtown and then to the Mississippi River at sunset to do just that.  We had such a wonderful evening, and I am pretty sure Nigel was fairly tired of Lindsay and I giggling and cutting up the whole time.  We did manage a few smiles from him, though, and that made it worth it!  Thanks so much, Lindsay and Nigel!  I truly hope you enjoy your pictures for years to come!!

Will's Senior Shoot - Nashville

I am a "nearly" native Memphian.  I've been here since I was three.  I really love Memphis for many reasons, but mainly because both my husband's and my family live here.  One thing about Memphis I don't necessarily love is how FLAT it is.  We have a few hills (more like speed bumps) here and there, but mostly it's just...flat. Nashville, however, is not.  And, being that it is just a short 3 hour drive from here, and I have family there, too, I love to take a weekend or two a year and spend a couple of days nestled in its gorgeous hills and valleys.

Will's family also lives in Nashville and when Sarah, Will's beautiful mama, asked me to come take gorgeous Will's senior pictures I jumped in the car and took a road trip!  As you can see, Will is incredibly handsome, but he is also exceptionally talented, exceedingly intelligent, extraordinarily hilarious, and just an all around super-nice guy!  We had a wonderful day driving around the Franklin area scouting out places to have our shoot.  Thank you to Sarah and Billy for allowing me to be a part of this fun time in your family's life!

Fur Babies

Critters have always been a part of my life, therefore it is very natural for me to get down (and sometimes up) to their level and include them in my photography.  If you would like to bring your animal(s) to a shoot or just want a few shots of your own "fur babies" I would certainly jump at the chance to capture their personalities on film!!

If you are wondering, she's my son's chinchilla, Prancer.  Truly - I love in a zoo!

Gracie

(No, I did not Photoshop a smile on her face.  She just smiles naturally! :)
